The night was thick at only an early time and where the hub was located on the edge of town, in a place that almost an exact copy of cardiff square. Moving quickly across the streets, hoping Lawliet had kept up, Sky moved quickly towards the information center, that to everyone else was just a place to find out information about the area but to torchwood,w as the main entrance to the hub. stopping at the doors, Sky looked back to lawliet, a grin spreading across her face as she stepped inside, holding the door open for him as she looked around the rather boring centre with a soft sigh.

The night was slightly humid with a cool breeze that came in welcomed. He'd followed Sky all the way from the restraunt, rarely striking up anything to say besides 'How much further?', he had his arms crossed, to keep out the chill which was strange to him at the moment, normally he was used to the air conditioned places. None of that mattered anyways, all he really wanted to know was about Torchwood, and the meaning of this alien stuff. He followed up to Sky and watched her open a door and move in, stepping inside he glanced at her with an uneasy tense stare which lasted a moment before peering around. where are we?

Sky looked softly at Lawliet before walking over to the front desk to a tall man that seemed to be in a work of his own. Coughing to get Ianto's attention, she nodded her head slightly to lawliet. Ianto looked up at Lawliet before at Sky before quickly flicking a switch, making one of the cupboards move to the side to show a dark hall. moving back to lawliet, she grabbed his hand lightly with his own and gave him a comforting smile. 'Come on, that's Ianto, one of the crew members, he keeps watch and makes cooffee and junk,' she said quickly and quietly, moving into the tunnel, still holding onto his hand.

Watching as Sky moved up to a tall man sitting at a desk. She made a sign to show he was there and watched as the man flipped a switch and in a heartbeat a dark hall way opened up in the side of the small building. He turned to Sky, while she moved back towards him, and shouldered to Ianto, the man. "Oh. . " Lawliet turned back to glance at Ianto before at Sky as she took his hand and lead him towards the hallway, he walked with her. Feeling safe around her, he trusted her and believed she would have tried to make an excuse if she didn't want him to really know. He peered around the walls, blank as they walked gradually further, he couldn't help but cough at the light dust that found its way to his nostrils. It was silent, and the only sound was their foot steps and his growling stomach and how he didn't eat anything when he had the chance. He'd been complaining and then didn't eat anything, that was weird and now he regretted saying he'd lost his appetite when he'd only lost it for a moment before he found it again. "Whats down here?" he broke the silence, a casual question as he moved up in step with Sky, his eyes dark under the dim light coming from somewhere he couldn't track.

Two women stood together, one was quite short but slim with long blonde hair that was layered around her shoulders. The other was slightly taller with darker hair; the both had piercing hazel eyes and watched the teens with a casual interest, the blonde more so than the brunette.
The blondes’ eyes met the boy and she frowned, remembering the description Sky had given her of her boyfriend, this was not him. She sighed, if Sky was getting herself into this situation it couldn’t be good, both of the women knew that. Rose looked around, trying to meet her daughter’s eye. They were extremely alike in looks but were different in personality almost completely.
“I swear that’s not the guy Sky told us about” Gwen murmured quietly to her cousin, echoing Rose's own thoughts. Her dark hair falling around her shoulders gracefully as she spoke. She was still in a love triangle, she had been ever since she’d been in Torchwood, whether it be Owen and Rhys, Jack and Rhys or Owen and Jack. She smoothed down her black blouse and continued watching them with interest but Rose was not happy.
“I really don’t like this” she said quietly, where was John when you needed him? She heard them talking and Sky had his hand in hers, to the team’s knowledge she’d never brought her boyfriend here. “I need to talk to Sky...” she said and started forward, but was cut off by Gwen’s arm.
“Don’t’” she said quietly, “You really shouldn’t, act casual...mom” and grinned and Rose mimed slapping her. She lent against the railing and called loudly in her welsh accent “Hey Sky! Who’s this then?"
Rose moved up beside her, looking so much like Sky in the moment “That’s where we keep the weevils” she said sweetly and grinned and Gwen.

Sky let go of his hand slightly, since she had the feeling her mother and aunty would be in the hub but, giving him a suporting grin she continued on. 'Torchwod,' she said as the last door opened and she led him into the central hub. Looking up to where the two, as she'd predicted were standing on the next layer up. Sky gave a wave to Gwen, glancing at Lawliet and at once knowing what the two were thinking. 'Oh, hey Mum, Hey Aunty gwen, This is Lawliet, a friend of mine,' she said loudly up to them before taking another glance at Lawliet, hoping the large central area of the hub wasn't too much for him, it was only the beginning of his first experience here.
Watching the two enter the information center, Jack rasied an eyebrow, glancing down at the message he'd recieved from Sky. Giving a small smirk he turned and made his way back down to the hub. Coming out from the balcony, Jack moved silently over to Gwen and Rose, winking at sky from his place as she entered. 'God Gwen, what's all the yelling about?' Jack said mockingly, grinning at Rose and Gwen before down to sky.

Well, they finally reached the end of that darn hall way and entered a more wider room or something with a lot of rooms that Sky called, 'The Central Hub'. It made no sense but he played along silently, smiling back at her he tightly squeezed her hand and moved it away. He had an idea what the women were talking about and decided maybe it was best if him and Sky didn't hold hands. Glancing around he raised a shoulder and lowered them again. "Hi. . ." he mumbled, unsure if he was even welcome. The hub was bright and there were different layers where stair cases led to. He'd come to the woods sometimes, but he'd never seen this building here before. If he did, he sure never noticed it.

Jack looked at Gwen and Rose before standing up straight and moving down the staircase and over to Lawliet and Sky. 'You must be the tag along I was warned about. Captain Jack Harkness,' Jack said, grinning and holding out his hand to Lawliet as Sky crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. 'Come on, if you're going to tag along than you at least need some sort of denfence,' she said, looking at him for a moment. { - Hey Smallz, I'm at school so you know if I take a while to reply. - }

Lawliet smiled a little bit, shaking Jacks hand with a nice grip. "Lawliet, and nice to meet you Jack." he grinned and took back his hand once they had introduced both themselves and all. He glanced at Sky who had her arms crossed miserably, he shoved her gingerly, and playfully. "Cheer up." he smiled, his sapphire eyes gleaming.

Sky couldn't help but smile at Lawliet and tilted her head to one of the corridors leading away from the hub. 'Come on, ' she said lightly, her hazel eyes glowing brightly as she turned and started down the corridor, knowing that Lawliet would keep up since he didn't really seem to want to stray too far away around here. If Lawliet was going to come with her, he'd need a weapon, since she didn't feel like being the going to get killed to save him, even if she would.

He couldn't help but feel safe with Sky, she just seemed to know what she was doing and he was glad she did. He truly believed her when she said she worked under Torchwood, and killed Aliens and stuff. Lawliet let loose a loud sigh to himself, following Sky as she lead him down another hallway. He turned to glance back at the people who were in the room, Jack seemed like a nice guy, and he must have a humor or something by the look Sky gave him when he introduced himself. "This place seems peaceful, where do the Aliens come from? and where are we going now?, " he asked, curious as he gazed around in awe. He didn't mean to ask so many questions, he just wanted to know. And it all seemed so interesting. "Sorry to ask so much, It's just all new for me to see, since Rosewell; when the Government found Alien lifeforms and tried to hide it from us citizens, did you find anything from that?"

Sky looked at him, giving a small smile. 'Don't worry and well, your going to need to be armed,' she said softly, opening a nearby door and walking into the Shooting ranges. Jack had done what she'd asked and had put out a bunch of the basic weapons on the table in the centre of the room. Giving a wave of her hand to Lawliet she moved over to the table, picking up a pair of the safety glasses and throwing them to him. 'Ever fired a gun before?' she asked, picking up a pair of earmuffs and throwing them to him straight after before putting hers around her neck and brushing back her hair.

A gun!? He glanced at Sky rapidly as they entered the shooting range. So thats what she meant by 'armed'. No, he'd never fired a real gun, unless a bb or the 'Pellet' gun was considered an actual gun. He shrugged, "Depends on what you consider a real gun." he chuckled, as she tossed him safety glasses. Putting them on and making sure no hair was in his face he turned to Sky again, how did she expect him to know how to use a gun? He was a college student studying the arts of technology! Not how to be a murderer, he turned his eyes from side to side thinking. "Well, I mine as well start.. and by the way, what would i need to be armored from?" he asked, squinting his eyes cooly yet, worried for the safety of his life. He didn't mind, as long as it was with Sky and away from Tom butthole. of whatever his last name was.

Sky looked at him for a moment, half wondering if she could do it, take Lawliet out into what could quickly turn into a death sentence but, she needed to, for someone to know. 'Who knows what could be out there. I don't want you to get hurt if it's what I think it is living in the woods,' she said, looking at the gun for a moment ebfore shaking ehr head and giving a wave of her hand. 'Come over here, I'll show you how to fire. Even Tosh who control all the technology, log in systems, scurity and keeps track of everything as well as can pull apart anything alien we give her can fire a gun. Even if you're only here once you'll need to be armed.' She said taking a breath before picking up a small, yet long-barreled gun, seeming to be made of a blue, transparent glass. 'From your height and arm length, I'd like to see how you'd do with the Gnarl,' she said, tossing it over in her hands before putting it back down on the table and pulling one of hers out of her belt and quickly firing three times, hitting the bullseye all three times in the direct center before throwing it down on the table. 'd**n thing only had three shots and doesn't have enough power,' she muttered to herself.

Lawliet waited until Sky had finished shooting, the gun was loud. Like his step fathers old beat up truck, which eventually blew up during last years summer on their way to Chigaco for vacation. He sighed and blinked his blue eyes as he moved closer to her and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know how to use a gun, you'll have to show me." he cracked an akward smile, and his voice was a bit teasing and a little bit flirtatious, though it wasn't on purpose. He chuckled, and smiled at her with a nice casual grin.
